“Just believing, does not mean you can”

It’s true that a blind belief in yourself, your methods or your products can, in some instances, drive a business forwards and keep a business afloat, but at the same time it must be stated that, even a broken clock is right twice a day. The reality is that if blind belief without blind luck was enough, then there would have been a lot more lottery winners.
In business this blind belief is a dangerous mindset, but must not be confused with a positive attitude or being motivated.
The above quote is in contradictions to another very popular quote by Henry Ford “Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you're right” and even when your mommy promised you that “you can do anything you put your mind to” she was not being completely honest. Just watch the audition episode of Idols to see how that works.
Hard work and dedication is what you need to make business dreams come true, not just dreaming and believing.
